OnePlus to launch the mid-range OnePlus TV’s on July 2

OnePlus has become a household name in India; it has penetrated the Indian market more quickly than any other brand. While doing the same, it has established itself as a premium brand and a brand that people trust. It was able to do so because of its philosophy of providing high specs at cheaper rates in the previous generation of its smartphones. Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has been spreading its wings and trying on newer ventures. The new OnePlus TV has been in the talks for quite some time now. OnePlus is eager to enter the Indian TV market, last year they released their first two variants of the Oneplus TV launched at RS 69,900 sporting a 55’ display. The OnePlus TV Q1 55’ is priced at RS 69,900 while the OnePlus TV Q1 Pro 55’ was set at Rs 99,900. These premium TV made a buzz around the market but was competing at a very high price to penetrate the Indian market. The new range of affordable premium TVs is set to launch in India on July 2, starting under Rs 20000 and going all the way till Rs 50000. It will have three models, and all of them will be much slimmer than the latest OnePlus 8 smartphone. Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, said that the OnePlus TV has state of the art design with almost 90-degree corners to match the screen, whereas other players in the market have slightly rounded corners. It has a stainless steel panel from the more expensive TV lineups and retains the same software as the higher-end OnePlus TVs. It sports tiny bezels and an incredible screen to body ratio with an immersive display with accurate color representation. The company is excited about its latest offering and continues to leaks images and specs to create a hype. OnePlus is also starting a new series called new beginnings, which their customers will see. The series is supposedly about the inside workings of OnePlus and their development of the OnePlus Z. They said that they are again trying to bring the flagship experience to a more affordable smartphone.
