OnePlus is set to launch its latest concept phone at Mobile World Congress 2023

At its Cloud 11 event, where it also unveiled the OnePlus 11 (review) and a number of other devices, OnePlus has also revealed that it would be showing its most recent concept phone at the Mobile World Congress in 2023. (MWC). The event, which will be held in Barcelona from February 27 to March 2, will provide tech companies the chance to display their most recent goods and inventions.

The prototype phone would include an entirely new design and new technology, according to OnePlus. It’s interesting to note that none of the concept devices the brand displayed at prior MWCs have evolved into actual smartphones. Although there is currently little information available regarding the device, it is very likely that it will not be offered for sale.

OnePlus unveiled two concept smartphones in 2020. The first one, OnePlus Concept One, had inconspicuous cameras and was based on the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. The business claimed that it collaborated with the sports car manufacturer McLaren and used electrochromic glass to accomplish the accomplishment. The technology is typically found in the windows of luxury vehicles and aeroplanes.

The other prototype phone, which resembled the OnePlus 8T, was unveiled later in December 2020. (reivew). Its color-changing rear panel was the sole thing that set it apart. According to OnePlus, their “Electronic Colour, Material and Finish” technology enables the back panel to change colour in response to events like a call or a notice.
