Comparison between BUSY and Competitor
Comparison between BUSY and Competitor

Mr. Ranjan:  We offer partnerships of different variants- Channel Partners are resellers of BUSY, they provide training, implementing and support to the end customers. Then there is solution partner developing customized reports, data entry screens and/or add-ons around BUSY; Product partners are preferably software organizations’ who use BUSY as a whole or a component of it.

OEM Partners use the software and provide a bundle solution to the client by installing the product in Desktops. These are basically PC manufacturers or System Integrators. Then we also have Education Partners.

Q: Kindly elaborate on Education Partners?

Mr. Ranjan:  BUSY has 300+ authorized training centers all over India. These organizations offer BUSY Certified Accountant course. They offer short to mid-term courses in computers and accounts. We have 10+ centers in Rajasthan.

Q: Tell us about the marketing strategy?

Mr. Ranjan:  For BUSY customer satisfaction is the ultimate key. Our main agenda is to understand the requirements of the customer as Software Industry is customer driven market.  In this industry pre sales service is more important than post sales service. We believe in the mantra ‘Try before buy’, only if the client is satisfied with the product only than the invoice is made.

Satisfied Customers leads to word-of-mouth publicity which in turn generates almost 70% enquiries. Positive publicity is always welcome. We are active in CA lobby, as we are offering free trial version of the software to them. Recently we have tied up with ICAI Delhi HO for the software. I am sure in a matter of 6 months our market share will take a quantum leap.

Q: What has been the growth story in Rajasthan?

Mr. Manish: We started our business in 2001 and since 2004 we have been associated with BUSY. Since then our growth has been phenomenal. Rajasthan has a different market; here is our market share is more industry specific. 95% of automobile companies in Rajasthan use our software. We have 16,000 installations in Rajasthan alone.  We are catering to the major sectors like FMCG, CA lobby etc. recently at Udaipur meet we gave free CA versions of the software to CA.  We are trying to get in touch with Government so as to open more training centers here and increase the skill set of the people.
