Moto C Plus with 4000mAh battery launched in India at Rs 6,999

Lenovo -owned Motorola has launched its budget Android smartphone Moto C Plus in India. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone will be exclusively available on e-commerce website Flipkart, starting Tuesday June 20.
Moto C Plus is almost identical to the recently-launched Moto C in appearance, however, comes with slightly better specifications. Its key highlight is its 4000mAh battery and the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the box.
The smartphone has a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution and runs on 1.3Ghz MediaTek processor MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 processor. Moto C Plus is paired with 2GB of RAM. Users get 16GB internal storage, with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size.
For photos and videos, the smartphone has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, which can record HD videos. Moto C Plus offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. Earlier this month, Lenovo launched Moto C smartphone at Rs 5,999. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display of 480×854 pixel resolution.
It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD cards. There’s a 5MP rear camera with LED flash included in the mix as well. Moto C smartphone comes in both single and dual-SIM configurations.It’s backed by a 2,350mAh battery and offers 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
The company also has some offers for Moto C Plus smartphone buyers. These include: Reliance Jio Prime membership for non-Prime members and up to 30GB additional 4G data; Motorola Pulse Max wired headphones at Rs 749 (the original price is Rs 2,499). Buyers will also get 20% additional discount during Flipkart’s fashion sale that starts June 24th.
The company launched Moto Z2 Play smartphone in India on June 8 at Rs 27,999. Moto Z2 Play has a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Running Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box, it is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB/64GB of internal storage, with support for microSD cards.
Talking about the camera, the Z2 Play features a 12MP rear camera with laser and dual auto-focus, as well as LED flash. There’s also a 5MP front camera with Moto’s first dual CCT flash for selfies and video calling. The smartphone offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C as connectivity options. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, which is a bit smaller when compared to the 3,510mAh battery of the Z Play.
