Microsoft owns American video game company ‘ZeniMax’

Recently, Microsoft bought the popular video game company, ZeniMax for 7.5 billion dollars. The company has created big and well-known games such as Wolfenstein, Elder Scrolls, and many more.

The purpose of Microsoft was to reinforce the Xbox for a reboot. Also, Microsoft plans to bring future games into the Xbox pass subscription on a monthly basis. Now, as per Microsoft, the subscription service has registered around fifteen million people/users.

Although Microsoft is not planning to disturb the design and management of Bethesda (a subset of ZeniMax).

Also, during the pandemic gaming is not on hold as people can’t get out of their homes. Due to which Microsoft has come up with an even better plan and that is to give the users a chance to play even through cloud service.

The deal between Microsoft and ZeniMax will be closed by the 2nd half of 2021 and Microsoft has also guaranteed that there will be no impact on the operating income between 2021 & 2022.
