Livares Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a start up business in the new Techno Park has come up with a new mobile app called the M-governance. The mobile application provides information related to different departments of the State government to it users.
The objective with this app is to create a completely transparent e-governance system whereby using cost effective and efficient mobile phone technology will keep users updated to every development is state departments.
The information deliverance will be updated 24×7. Users just need to download the app and choose for the required service under the respective state department head. All the different functional departments are listed in the app. The query submission could also be initiated by providing registration number and file number details.
The system is initiated just by an SMS to “537252” and comes with a predefined format. According to the chief operating officer at Livares Technologies Pvt. Ltd, this could be a move that could revolutionize Kerala’s working system. The application will also help bridge the information gap between the government and the public.
The director of Kerala State Information Technology Mission, Jayasankar Prasad said that the government is in the process of providing a simple e-government process to all residents of the state.
Mobile application could aptly be used to deliver information as and when demanded. This will establish a transparency between the government and the public.
