Logic Fruit Technologies announces the launch of CAN Controller IP Core

‘’Designed to redefine industry standards, CAN Controller IP Core delivers advanced communication and high-speed versatility for automotive, medical, and industrial connectivity’’

Logic Fruit Technologies, the premier provider of IPs, Embedded Solutions, and Product Engineering Services has recently announced the launch of its dynamic CAN Controller IP Core, an expedited solution that supports data rates up to 1 Mbps, delivering seamless automotive communications.

A Controller Area Network (CAN) is a serial half duplex and differential two-wired asynchronous communication protocol that allows the microcontrollers and other devices to communicate without a host computer. Being a Bus Controller that performs communication according to the CAN 2.0B, under the CAN FD specifications, the CAN protocol has myriad applications in diverse market verticals from the automobile sector, and medical devices to industrial automation.

Commenting on the release, Shashank Chaurasia, Business Unit Head of Logic Fruit Technologies, said, “We’re driven by innovation, it’s at the core of everything we do. With the launch of our CAN RTL IP Core, we are taking a significant leap forward in communication protocols, offering a versatile and efficient solution for a multitude of industries. Equipped with high data rates and seamless integration capabilities, this IP Core is set to redefine communication standards.”

Furthermore, in this CAN-based protocol, nodes on the bus have no identifying information making it simplified to insert or delete it from any network, without updating on software or hardware systems. CAN specializes in providing broadcast message transmission so all nodes in the network can view all transmitted messages, making it the node’s decision to accept or filter out the message.
