Lenovo Launches Vibe C, Online Available

It seems Lenovo will be adding a new device to its Vibe lenovo_vibe_cseries of smartphones. Dubbed Vibe C, the unannounced smartphone has been listed on a Croatian etailer’s website along with information such as price, images and specifications.

Based on the listing, the Lenovo Vibe C runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It has a 5-inch HD display of 720×1280 resolution and packs a quad-core processor under-the-hood, clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

On the camera front, the Lenovo Vibe C includes a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing shooter. The smartphone can record videos in HD resolution and supports 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth as connectivity options. The Vibe C is backed by a 2300mAH battery.

It is available in Black colour variant with a price tag of HRK 698 (approximately Rs 7,000), and shipments are likely to begin from May 18. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is yet to announce the handset officially.

Earlier this month, Lenovo brought its ZUK sub-brand to India by launching the ZUK Z1 smartphone at Rs 13,499. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The smartphone is powered by a rather dated Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It also has 64GB of in-built storage.

On the camera front, the Lenovo ZUK Z1 houses a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 4100mAh battery.
According to the latest survey by IDC, Lenovo fell out of the top five smartphone brands in the first quarter of 2016. While Samsung kept the top spot at 24.5% market share, Apple stayed at second position with 15.3% market share.
