Lava launches A51, A76+ smartphones with 3G, 4G support, prices start at Rs 4199

Lava has expanded its product line-up in the country with the lava-a51-launchedlaunch of two new smartphones. Dubbed A51 and A76+, the budget handsets are priced at Rs 4,199 and Rs 5,599 respectively. Both smartphones come in White and Black colour options and will be available across all leading retail stores in the country.

In terms of specifications, Lava A51 features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core processor. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, the smartphone has 512MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD cards.

For imaging duties, the A51 has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing snapper. Backed by a 1,750mAh battery, the smartphone offers 3G, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

On the other hand, Lava A76+ has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The handset packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD cards.

The dual-SIM A76+ runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and has a 1,850mAh battery. Having two 5MP cameras (one the front and one at the back), the Lava A76+ offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

Recently, Lava launched its Ivory POP tablet in India. Priced at Rs 6,299, the Ivory POP features a 7-inch display of 1024×600 pixel resolution. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the tablet is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Intel processor paired with 1GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD cards.

The dual-SIM Lava Ivory POP has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, along with a 3.2MP front-facing snapper for video calling. Powered by a 3,000mAh battery, the device offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. It also includes support for 21 regional languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and more.
