Konica Minolta Associates itself with SMILE Foundation

Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. a world class technology company brought smiles and cheers to underprivileged children this Diwali. Associating with Smile foundation, Konica Minolta as part of its CSR activities has decided to fund the education of 100 underprivileged children. The whole purpose of this activity is to empower children and make them feel confident enough to face the world with honor.

Konica Minolta is now associated with SMILE Foundation & will be supporting their “Mission Education” program for underprivileged children with full vigor. Konica Minolta CSR team along with other Konica Minolta volunteers visited SMILE’s “Health & Care Society” at  their Dhaula Kuan based Education Center on October 29, 2013, where they provide education and health care facilities to underprivileged children.

Mr. Tadahiko Sumitani – Managing Director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. spent some happy hours with the underprivileged children.

Mr. Tadahiko Sumitani – Managing Director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We would be doing employee engagements with SMILE Foundation, our partner NGO and involve all the employees to contribute towards these social causes. The first step of such engagement happened on the occasion of Diwali, where we shared our happiness by making these children, who are God’s blessings to this world, happy”.

It was a memorable experience with these small kids where in volunteers participated in many beautiful activities, like Rangoli making, quiz competition and prizes were awarded to the winners. Konica Minolta Volunteers also made Diwali cards for these kids and got the same in return. The interaction between both was quite enchanting. itvoice

“It was a pleasant experience seeing innocent smiles on these cute faces while receiving Diwali Gifts” said one of the volunteers from Konica Minolta.

Konica Minolta and its employees also pledged that they will always try to give their services to mankind through selfless efforts.
