iQOO Z9 Turbo to Launch with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Chipset

Update: iQOO has officially announced that the Z9 Turbo smartphone will launch in China on April 24th.

Previously: iQOO had already revealed that their upcoming Z9 series device would be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, with plans for an April release. Now, they have confirmed that it will indeed be the Z9 Turbo model. Additionally, they have shared an image of the phone showcasing its dual rear cameras and a sleek curved design reminiscent of the iQOO 12.

Jia Jingdong, vice president of vivo, disclosed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will feature a unique “independent graphics chip Turbo” and will incorporate a 6K VC heat dissipation system, a feature he claims is unmatched in its category. He emphasized that the iQOO Z9 Turbo aims to redefine gaming performance within its price segment, and assures that the entire iQOO Z9 series will meet or exceed expectations across the board.

iQOO has also confirmed that the Z9 Turbo will boast a robust 6000mAh battery. According to leaks shared by Digital Chat Station, the device is expected to sport a 1.5K 144Hz OLED flat screen and maintain a slim profile, measuring just 7.98mm in thickness.

The official launch of the iQOO Z9 Turbo is slated for later this month, promising further revelations and insights into its specifications and features in the days to come.
