IFA 2014: Lenovo Brings In Two Smartphones – Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2

 

lenovo logoOn the sidelines of IFA 2014, Lenovo has launched two new smartphones, Vibe X2 and Vibe Z2, in Berlin. While Vibe X2 sports a 12.7-cm (5-inch) full-HD (1080x1920p) display, Vibe Z2 is a super-thin phablet with a brushed metal unibody and it sports a 13.97-cm (5.5-inch) 720p display.

Vibe X2 is powered by a MediaTek MT6595 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. This phone is 7.27mm thin and will be available in colour variants like white, red, gold and dark grey colours. Vibe X2 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Lenovo’s Vibe UI running on top and it also sports a 13MP rear camera along with 5MP wide-angle front-camera for improved selfies. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth and GPS.

Lenovo has also packed ‘Xtensions’ in this device which act as click-on accessories. Lenovo Vibe X2 costs $399 and will start selling in China this September and in select regions from October. The other one, Vibe Z2, is Lenovo’s debut in the category of 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor. It is packed with 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and it also runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Vibe Z2 sports an 8MP front camera and 13MP rear camera equipped with optical image stabilisation. This is a dual-SIM phone which also supports 4G LTE connectivity. Priced at $429 the phone will hit Chinese markets this September and other regions from October.
