iBall Joins Hands With Intel And Microsoft To Launch Its First 3G Business Tablet And 2 In 1

iBall, a leading brand for Tablet PCs in Indian market, has announced the launch of Intel® Atom™ processor based tablet that runs on Microsoft Windows. Known for its innovative technology products, iBall has collaborated with the two technology giants to increase the penetration of affordable business devices in India.

With the latest Windows 8.1 operating system, and power of the Intel® Atom™ processor, iBall’s Slide Tablet is the first budget 3G Business tablet in India, and will help users manage their PC-related business requirements. Priced at Rs 16,999, the high configuration 8 inch Tablet comes packed with several free licenses, including the Microsoft Office license for one year, 1 TB (terabyte) OneDrive cloud storage, and the Windows Defender Antivirus and Firewall to protect the tablet.

The tablet comes power-packed with 20.3 cm (8”) IPS display, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage (with 64 GB further expandability), 5MP auto focus camera with flash, and a front 2MP camera for video chatting. It also lets users connect all accessories and peripherals including the keyboard, mouse, speaker, USB, projector, and scanner, as any normal PC or laptop does. The Slide Tablet also supports HDMI to connect to the TV, or other devices, and the built-in 3G SIM slot enables anywhere, anytime connectivity. It lets you do everything you can do on a laptop and more. It weighs just 354 gms.

With its essential productivity on-the-go, the Business Tablet suits the professional and leisure-time needs of the individual, and the 1 TB cloud storage and Microsoft sync feature allows for syncing of all devices (PC/Laptop/Tablet/Phone) seamlessly. The tablet, engineered for the dynamic needs of those in the corporate domain, will be available across India within few weeks. iBall also plans to launch 10.1” 2-in-1 by end of this month.
