Back in December, Honor had unveiled the Honor 7X and Honor View 10 in London. The event marked the India launch of the Honor 7X and global launch of the View 10. And now, both handsets are set to make their way to US.
At the annual CES show in Las Vegas, Honor has announced that it will be launching the two handsets to US. While the Honor 7X is priced at $199 and is already available on the US store in Blue, Gold and Black colour options, the View 10 is slated to hit later in 2018.
The Honor 7X is the successor to the Honor 6X and comes a bezel-less display, an improved design and a dual rear camera setup, which is placed horizontally. In terms of specs, it features an 18:9 aspect ratio screen featuring a 5.93-inch full HD+ display of 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 2.36GHz octa-core Kirin 659 processor with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. The US-store listing suggests that the 7X will come with 3GB RAM, whereas the model launched in India has 4GB RAM. There is no difference in terms of internal storage which is 32GB. In terms of camera, the device features 8MP front facing camera with an Effects functions for enhancing the selfies. On the back, there is a dual rear camera setup of 16MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary camera with LED flash. Backed by a 3340mAh battery, the device runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system topped with EMUI 5.1.
As for the Honor View 10, the handset is the company’s first artificial intelligence-based smartphone, which makes it one of the key highlights of the device. The View 10 has some interesting features such as the real-time multi-languages translation support using the Microsoft Translator, AI-based Vision Engine, which enhances the image resolution of low quality picture, Easy Talk AI technology which helps in background noise reduction. The key specs of the handset include a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio, a dual rear camera setup of a 16MP+20MP.
