HP has launched a series of consumer products in India, and the list includes HP Stream notebook, HP Stream 8 tablet, HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II tablet and HP Pavilion Mini, which is a palm-sized desktop.
HP Stream is a notebook PC with a 29.46-cm (11.6-inch) HD anti-glare WLED-backlit display.HD anti-glare WLED-backlit display. It is powered by a 2.16GHz Intel Celeron N2840 Processor and 2GB RAM and it has in-built storage of 32GB. The notebook PC runs on Windows 8.1 and it packs a multi-format SD media card reader too. Free cloud storage with 1TB Microsoft OneDrive is offered on this for one year, along with Office 365 Personal for free and for one year once again. HP Stream notebook has been priced at Rs 19,990.
HP Stream 8 is a Windows 8.1 tablet with a 20.32-cm (8-inch) display, Intel Atom Z3735G Quad Core processor, 1GB RAM and 32GB storage. The tablet supports 4G connectivity and it also features a microSD card slot, 2MP front-facing webcam and a 5MP rear camera. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. Its display is diagonal with HD WVA IPS capacitive multi-touch qualities. The HP Stream 8 tablet will cost Rs 16,990.
The other tablet, HP Slate 6 Voice Tab II, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and it has a 15.24-cm (6-inch) diagonal IPS multi-touch display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. This tablet is powered by 1.2GHz Marvell quad-core PXA1088 processor, 1GB RAM, and it offers 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It has an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-snapper. Its connectivity features include GSM voice calling support, 3G, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi. HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II starts at Rs 15,990.
Next comes the HP Pavilion Mini Desktop which features Intel Pentium 3558U processor, 4GB RAM and a 500 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD). The desktop has no monitor, keyboard or mouse as it fits in the palm. Processors up to Intel i3 are supported in this innovative desktop. It also offers dual display support with DisplayPort and HDMI compatible ports. This palm-sized desktop has been launched at a starting price of Rs 26,990. All the new HP products will be available from this month only.
