svi logois pleased to take the lead role in a new technology learning initiative for students at Mount Saint Mary Academy. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, SVI is helping to bring interactive and individualized learning to students, by creating state-of-the-art classrooms.

SVI has implemented Apple iPads along with televisions and projectors, smart TV devices and an easy control interface in the construction of sophisticated, yet easy-to-use classrooms that combine technology and practical learning to bring classroom lessons to life.

The technology we are putting in place is revolutionary and allows students to move well beyond traditional book learning and become immersed in 21st century world resources,” says PG McAdams, Founder of SVI Systems.

Since its introduction in early 2010, The iPad has become a favorite tool with educators, due in part to its ease of use and the more than 20,000 educational apps available to meet a wide range of learner needs. In a partnership with Small Dog Electronics, an Authorized Apple Reseller which acts as a further technical advisor, SVI is assured of providing the most viable solutions and implementations to maximize functionality. In addition, Mount Saint Mary faculty is offered follow-up training to ensure the systems are utilized to their fullest potential.

We understand that learning should be creative, collaborative and inspirational. With SVI installing this technology in our classrooms we are able to help students fully interact with their curriculum, as well as enhance productivity for administrators and teachers,” says Pat Baldissard, Principal, Mount Saint Mary Academy.

Mount Saint Mary Academy is a private, Catholic school for students from age three through sixth grade. Founded in 1858, Mount Saint Mary Academy prides itself on a tradition of Mercy Hospitality and an outstanding and challenging curriculum.

It’s exciting for me to help provide the tools and training to develop such an engaging and advanced learning community at Mount Saint Mary Academy,” says McAdams.
