Google Docs & Sheets to Have Latest Icons

Google Workspace is now releasing the latest icons for google Docs and google Sheets as a part of a renovation that was proclaimed earlier this October. The icons are going to have the shape of a full-page, with a white background covering it. The latest design arrives with version 1.20.422.01. The company has rebranded G Suite as Google Workspace, targeting to make it a 1-stop site for all productivity applications.

It has already released updated icons for Meet, Chat, and Gmail applications. The update for the design was 1st seen by 9to5Google. If we talk about the change, the earmark in the top-right corner today looks much darker. When seen thoroughly, users will observe that the Docs icon has 1 less line of text or row and the Sheets icon has 2 fewer cells when compared to the preceding versions. Moreover, the icons recently carry the shape of a full page and a background of white color. The publication has said that the applications have accepted the latest design with version 1.20.422.01.

As mentioned before, the update is a part of the company’s strategy to deliver a new user experience. Its rebranded G Suite as Google Workspace and carried together tools such as chat, email, voice, and video calling into an amalgamated place. Previously, the US-based company has said that users will be able to develop and work together on a document with guests in a Chat room. It said that Google would too be releasing Meet picture-in-picture for Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Google Workspace has already been released to corporate customers and will be accessible to other users by the next month.
