Fujifilm ‘instax mini 9′ camera launched in India at Rs 5,999

Imaging products manufacturer Fujifilm has launched a new camera in India. Dubbed instax mini 9, the camera is priced at Rs 5,999 and comes with the same design as its predecessor, the instax mini 8. It has a selfie mirror placed close to the lens, which enables users to achieve the best angle.
Fujifilm instax mini 9 features a close-up lens and features like automatic exposure measurement for aperture settings, along with a high-key mode that allows users to capture brighter images. The instax series now has mini 25, mini 70, mini 90, wide 300 and mini Hello Kitty cameras.
Talking about the camera, S.M. Ramprasad, assistant vice president of Fujifilm, said, “We welcome our new iconic camera ‘instax mini 9′ into the instax family, equipped with upgraded technology and advanced features. The new product has been designed keeping in mind the ever changing preferences of the Indian youth”.
Earlier this year, Fujifilm launched its X100F and X-T20 cameras. On the resolution front, the APS-C (23.6 x 15.6 mm) sensor of the X100F is a 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS offering, compared to the 16-megapixel sensor used in the X100T. This means it matches that of Fujifilm’s X-Pro2 and X-T2 flagships. Paired with a X-Processor Pro image processing engine, the camera has an ISO range of 200 to 12,800 (expandable to 100 to 51,200). It can shoot at speeds of 8 fps and records Full HD video at up to 60 fps.
The Fujifilm X100F also features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing sharing of images and remote shooting via Android or iOS apps. Along with the camera, Fujifilm has announced two new conversion lenses for wide-angle or telephoto shooting. These can convert the view to a 28-mm or 50-mm equivalent, and are automatically recognized by the camera, which displays a frame guide in the optical viewfinder.
