Facebook Unveils Anonymous Login For Its Users

mark zuckerberg facebook pressFacebook has recently announced Anonymous Login and Facebook Login. This feature enables users to log into apps more privately, giving them better privacy control settings.

“Anonymous Login lets people log in to apps so they don’t have to remember usernames and passwords, but it doesn’t share personal information from Facebook. People can decide later if they want to share any additional information, once they understand more about the apps,” Facebook announced in its blog. The announcement was made after some people complained of having to share their personal information with apps.

Now, you will be able to choose the content you wish to share when you access an app while providing your Facebook login details. The Anonymous Login which is currently in testing phase is expected to be available soon. Facebook also plans to launch the new Facebook Login feature, which enables Facebook users to choose what information they share with an app. It gives users the option to uncheck categories of information.
