Education technology company ConveGenius on Friday launched a new microSD card version of their successful edutainment solution — CG Slate.
The CG Slate microSD card is available in three variants. For classes KG-2, the micro SD card is priced at Rs 1,999; for classes 3-5, it comes at a price of Rs 2,999 and for classes KG-5, it bears a price tag of Rs 1,999, the company said in a statement.
Any smartphone or tablet can be converted into a CG Slate by inserting the microSD Card and loading the CG Slate app after installing it from the Google Play Store.
CG Slate ensures integrated learning from more than 1,500 premium learning modules mapped to NCERT curriculum.
It also makes learning fun through interactive video stories, books, educational worksheets, quizzes and fun games.
The new microSD card solution is available exclusively on the CG Slate official Website.
For those unaware, Lenovo joined hands with Convegenius to launch CG Slate tablet, back in 2016 . The tablet is sold exclusively on Flipkart.
The CG Slate, as described by the company, is an NCERT curriculum-mapped, self-learning tablet for kids. The device was previously only limited to Conveniences’ B2B clients, which are State Governments, NGOs and other learning centres. It has been mentioned that the tablet is centred around a ‘gamified’ approach to learning, meaning that kids would be gaining knowledge by playing games. As kids learn more, they receive points, which can be redeemed to watch cartoons, play games and more. Kids can also choose toys, which can be later purchased by parents using cash backs linked to the child’s account.
