The govt has a broad list of support manufacturing facilities proposed in the EMC which include; Product design house, Tool room, Testing, calibration and certification facility, Printing and packaging facilities.

The identified land at Naya Raipur is spread over 28.32 hectares of land and has connectivity through NH-43 and NH-6. An IT SEZ is also proposed in the vicinity of the proposed location.

It is a major achievement in the direction of establishing pollution-free industries of Non-core sector in Naya Raipur.

It is worth recalling the Chhattisgarh government has now included Electronics Manufacturing also under its IT/ITeS Policy. This has been done as per the vision of the PM on ‘Make in India’ initiative for which the State government has envisioned ‘Make in Chhattisgarh’ campaign.
