Vikas Gupta :- What is your strength in tablet business?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- Price is a very important factor when it comes to the Indian market and Champion Computers has scored high in this space by introducing affordable tablet pcs in the market. For the given features and enhanced qualities, Champion Computers offers a very good price for their tablets. We are also offering our products with bundled offers from BSNL which will go on to strengthen our business. As BSNL is known for its national connectivity, our tablets have the USP for a wider reach in terms of network.

Vikas Gupta :- Which is the best performing region for your brand? What is your market share in each of the regions?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- Though we have substantial presence in PAN India, we are prominent is West and North Region of the country

Vikas Gupta :- What are the strategies you are considering while introducing a product in India?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :-

o             There are a lot of players in the market today. To stand out amongst the crowd, we are introducing user-friendly products so that a person who is not even well versed with technology would find it easy to use our products without facing any hurdles.

o             We are also offering the latest technology and features at a minimal price so that buyers need not think twice before purchasing our products.

o             Our products are launched with bundled offers from BSNL which will ensure good connectivity and our consumers won’t face any network issues.

o             We have set up 400 service centers across India for efficient after-sales service so that we can cater to our consumers in a well-organized and prompt manner.

Vikas Gupta :- How many product and solutions are you offering to the channel community at present?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- Presently, we are offering 5 categories of product in Telecom – Feature Phones, Smart Phones, Phablet, Tablet, Wireless data Card

Vikas Gupta :- What kind of audience are you targeting and what is your go to market strategy for your product range in India?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- We are targeting anyone and everyone who would love to possess the latest technology gadget with them at a reasonable price, be it the youth, corporate, housewives and even the elderly.

We have recently entered into a strategic alliance with India’s premier telecom service provider, government-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to cater to the ever-growing ICT needs of the consumer. With this association we plan on coming out with a slew of co-branded products which include smart phones, phablets, tablets, dongles etc. We have built a strong distribution network and our products would be available in leading online portals, multi-brand retail outlets, traditional retail stores and the BSNL outlets. We have also set up our service centers across 400 cities which would further cater to the consumer needs and would provide superior customer experience.

Vikas Gupta :- What is the big focus of Champion Computers today? What are some of the top priorities for Champion Computers in India?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- We have a series of new products ranging from tablets to smart phones, feature phones, dongles, phablets which we plan to launch in the coming days. We have applied our entrepreneurial skills and accomplished successful business over the years and have managed to make a name for ourselves in the distribution segment and now we are focusing on increasing out footprint in the retail segment and are at par with the leading players in this sector.

Vikas Gupta :- What are the plans for Champion Computers in 2013? Are you planning to come up with any unprecedented marketing initiative this year?   

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- This year we are planning to introduce as many new products as we can to cater to different audiences and build a strong foothold for ourselves in the market. We are working on some very attractive offers for the festive season

Vikas Gupta :- What are some of the points where Champion Computers products score over the competing forces in India.

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- Champion Computers has been in the industry for 25 years and has the perfect knowledge and expertise in this field. Having been in this industry for so many years we know the likes and dislikes of the consumers and implement our strategies accordingly. Our alliance with BSNL does give us an unprecedented edge over other competing forces. With our alliance we definitely feel we will be able to reach out to a larger audience and fulfill their wants. We are also working on the design and performance of our products to make it eye-catching and at the same time easy to use. Our low prices and superior functionality is also a reason our products would score over our competitors.

Vikas Gupta :- Anything special that you want to share with our readers about Champion Computers. Any memorable moment that makes Champion Computers special to you?

Mr. Kapil Wadhwa :- We started as a proprietorship firm and grew to a corporate and gained recognition from country’s premium telecom service provider ‘BSNL’ to be its strategic alliance to sell its services through all range of Champion telecom products. This is a milestone in Champion’s history
