In the purview of the new marketing strategy, Canon India launched its first CIS 4.0 store in Andheri, Mumbai. Canon Image Square is an experience store where consumers can experience the lifestyle, technology, and innovation in Canon products. Apart from the latest technology products, the store will have a dedicated service collection and Canon Professional Services (CPS) registration desk. Professional and semi-professional photographers can check all the photography solutions by Canon India under one roof that is the CIS 4.0 store.

The Store will be a one-stop solution for all the photography needs with four interactive zones namely wedding, wildlife, vlogging, and family zone. Customers can have extensive knowledge and experience the categorized photography solutions in specific zones. The staff at the store will be highly trained on the products & solutions so that the customers can have detailed knowledge about the solutions by Canon.

The company is looking to launch 50+ such futuristic stores across the country for end-to-end photography solutions.

Despite the year marked by lockdowns and the pandemic, Japanese electronics giant Canon recorded growth in all the verticals in India. A major part of the growth was attributed to the OTT platforms, content creators, and education industry who rely on the technologically advanced Canon products.

Apart from the established inkjet printers, cinematography products have gained popularity and bagged exponential growth. The mirrorless camera category grew by 1.5 times last year. At the same time, the solutions business grew 35% over the previous year.
