Avaya hosts annual Techathon Event at its R&D Centre in Pune

·         Over 100 customers and partners attended the event which showcased entire portfolio of  products and solutions

Avaya, a global provider of business communications and collaboration systems and services host India’s most awaited technology event Techathon 2014 today in Pune. The event witnessed more than 100 customers & partners; and was addressed by Gary E. Barnett, Avaya’s Senior Vice President & General Manager, Collaboration. This event addressed key strategy of the company and showcased entire portfolio of Avaya’s solutions and services.

Some of the key technologies that are developed out of Pune R&D center include next-generation contact center solutions, unified communication and collaboration, solutions for medium sized businesses, including Avaya’s flagship IP Office collaboration platform, and WebRTC.

Recently Avaya enabled Tata Technologies- a key local customer in Pune – to implement an enterprise collaboration solution as part of the company’s focus on its one-to-win business strategy.
