Asus Zenfone 3 Series Will Be Launched On May 30

Asus will be launching the third generation of its Zenfone series of smartphones on May 30. The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has updated its official website with details about a ‘Zenvolution’ event, complete with a countdown timer. The event will be live-streamed on the website.

The company is likely to launch multiple smartphones under the Zenfone 3 moniker, each with varying hardware specifications.

The ‘Zenvolution’ event will take place at ‘Computex Taipei,’ one of the biggest annual technology trade shows in the world.

It’s worth noting that this year’s ‘Computex Taipei’ technology expo is scheduled for May 31-June 4. In addition to smartphones, Asus will most likely be unveiling a variety of other products as well. These could include new ZenPad tablets, ZenBook laptops and even a new ZenWatch.

The upcoming Zenfone 3 smartphones have been rumoured to come with features like a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. On the software side, the devices will most certainly come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the latest version of Zen UI baked on top.

Asus recently launched the second generation variant of its Zenfone Go budget smartphone in India. The company also refreshed its ROG line-up of gaming laptops and PCs.
