ASUS has introduced three new models in its Chromebook CX lineup in India, namely the Chromebook CX15 (CX1400), Chromebook CX14 (CX1500), and Chromebook Flip 14 CX14 (CX1400FKA). While there are some slight differences in size and functionality, they share similar hardware and features.
All three of these Chromebooks come with FHD resolution displays. The CX14 and CX15 have 14-inch and 15.6-inch screens, respectively, while the Chromebook Flip 14 CX14 features a 14-inch touchscreen that can be flipped backward. Below, you can find additional specifications for these Chromebooks.
The displays in the ASUS Chromebook CX 2023 series feature LED Backlit Anti-glare panels with 220 nits Brightness and 45% NTSC Color Gamut. Powering these Chromebooks is the Intel Celeron N4500 Processor, clocked at 1.1 GHz (with 4M Cache, up to 2.8 GHz), and they come with Intel UHD Graphics 600.
You have the option to choose between two RAM configurations, either 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and two storage capacities, 64GB or 128GB of eMMC storage. For video calls and conferencing, there’s a 720p HD camera, and audio connectivity includes a combined headphone/microphone jack and built-in dual speakers.
These Chromebooks run on the Chrome OS platform and come with a full-size, ergonomic spill-resistant keyboard with 1.5 mm key travel. They meet the US MIL-STD 810H military-grade standard for durability. In terms of weight, the Chromebook 15 weighs 1.80kg, the Chromebook 14 is 1.47kg, and the Chromebook 14 Flip is 1.63kg.
The battery capacity also varies, with the Chromebook 15 featuring a 42wh 2S1P, 2-cell Li-ion Battery, while the Chromebook 14 and 14 Flip have a 50wh 3S1P, 3-cell Li-ion Battery.
In terms of connectivity, these Chromebooks offer dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.2, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports (supporting display and power delivery), and a Micro SD card reader.
