Apple Podcasts has introduced a feature that reveals the true supporters financially contributing to creators’ shows

Apple Podcasts is providing creators with more insights into their audience, particularly those who are financially supporting their content.

The company has introduced subscription analytics tools that reveal data about subscribers, such as how many initiated free trials, the percentage of conversions to paid subscriptions, the subscription plans chosen, and geographic distribution.

This feature offers creators a deeper understanding of their subscription-based business. The analytics also distinguish between annual and monthly subscriptions.

The move to annual plans is on the rise, with over one-third of new subscribers opting for this option, as it provides upfront revenue and enhanced retention.

Creators can access this data through Apple Podcast Connect’s Analytics tab, offering valuable insights into subscription metrics and trends.

Apple is also partnering with Danish music analytics platform Linkfire to help creators promote their podcasts and generate more data about their listeners through smart links.
This integration aims to provide podcasters with a better understanding of listener engagement beyond just download numbers.
