Acer has launched a new lineup of eco-friendly laser projectors

The “Green But Mean” Vero projectors are a great option for both work and enjoyment since they include cutting-edge laser light technology, a 30,000-hour lifespan, and up to 50% energy savings. The 4,000 ANSI lumen brightness and wireless dongle of the Acer Vero PL2520i laser projectors enable wireless projection from a smartphone or computer. The 3,500 ANSI lumen illumination provided by the Acer Vero XL2220/XL2320W laser projectors ensures lasting brightness and accurate, vibrant colour. These environmentally conscious projectors include 360-degree projection, IP6X-rated optical engines, and easy installation for the greatest viewing experience possible.

Acer unveiled three Vero projectors that are intended to give customers and businesses high-performing, environmentally friendly projectors while giving them more options. The new Vero projectors offer superior laser light technology with a 30,000-hour lifespan for crystal-clear images and long-lasting brightness for an extended duration, helping to reduce total cost of ownership and power usage. The chassis of these mercury-free projectors is made of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and the packaging is made of recycled paper. This reduces the manufacture of hazardous materials and lessens their environmental effects.

The new environmentally aware projectors have switched to employing a sophisticated laser light source for higher brightness and improved energy efficiency, building on the success of the Acer Vero PD2325W. These “Green But Mean” projectors offer eight times less brightness degradation and use around 50% less power than conventional lamp-based projectors, which lowers the total cost of ownership while causing less environmental harm. Their 30,000-hour lifespan also greatly lowers maintenance and replacement expenses, making them an excellent and dependable option for high-frequency operation.

The dynamic 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 4,000 and 3,500 ANSI lumen brightness of the Acer Vero PL2520i and XL2220/XL2320W projectors, respectively, enable them to generate clear, precise images even at a distance and in dim lighting. These provide improved colour production and presentation when compared to lamp models because they also include Acer ColorBoost3D technology and accurately reproduce 93% of the Rec. 709 colour spectrum. Any big-screen projection, whether in a conference room or the comfort of your own home, will look spectacular and enhanced thanks to Acer’s specially designed Football mode and HDMI 3D requirements.

The Acer Vero PL2520i and XL2220/XL2320W projectors are simple to install and offer the option of portrait or 360-degree projection. Users can take use of its versatility from any upward and downward angle to generate surround projections for interactive displays on the walls, ceilings, and floors. The projector then automatically adapts using its automatic keystone correction technology to produce an optimum image onto the chosen viewing surface. Additionally, the 1.3X optical zoom features of the Acer Vero PL2520i give customers more versatility when it comes to installing and adjusting images.

The new Vero projectors deliver uncompromising performance even in dusty or difficult conditions thanks to optical engines rated IP6X “dust-tight,” the highest level of protection from solid objects. It is important to note that these new Vero projectors are smaller and lighter than the previous PL1520i model by about 33%, which lowers the amount of packaging materials and gasoline used to ship each unit. Additionally supporting non-stop 24/7 projection, the Acer Vero PL2520i and XL2220/XL2320W projectors offer consumers dependable and high-quality performance even over extended periods of time. There is no need for external speakers with these Vero projectors because they come with 15W built-in speakers that produce loud, room-filling sound from videos, movies, or music. Additionally, the Acer Vero PL2520i supports wireless projection and mirroring display compatible devices, enabling limitless direct screen projection.
