Vivo has officially extended its tablet portfolio in China with the rollout of the Vivo Pad 5c. Aimed at establishing a firm foothold in the upper-mid-range market, the Android device prioritizes processing efficiency, advanced hardware optimization, and smart productivity tools. It shares its internal architecture and primary hardware configuration with the recently introduced iQOO Pad 5c, demonstrating a unified manufacturing roadmap.
At the core of the Vivo Pad 5c is Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Built on a 4nm fabrication process, the architecture balancing extreme computing power with thermal management. To ensure peak frame rates and eliminate thermal throttling during intensive tasks like gaming or 4K media rendering, Vivo incorporated an extensive 3D vapor chamber cooling system spanning 32,200mm² across the internal chassis.
The front of the tablet is dominated by a 12.1-inch 2.8K display panel. Engineered for multi-window multitasking and fluidity, the screen supports a 144Hz high refresh rate alongside 900 nits of peak brightness. For multimedia consumption, the hardware is supplemented by a native four-speaker panoramic sound array. Structurally, despite containing a massive 10,000mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging, the tablet maintains a sleek form factor measuring 6.62mm in thickness and weighing 584 grams.
Software-side capabilities are driven by OriginOS 6, built on Android 16. It offers deep enterprise integration, incorporating pre-installed WPS Office, AI PPT Assistant, and native floating windows. It is also compatible with the Vivo Pencil 3 stylus and Smart Touch Keyboard 5 for creative professionals.
The device is available in Blueprint, Green, and Grey. Pricing starts at CNY 2,699 (approximately ₹37,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB configuration, rising to CNY 3,499 (around ₹47,000) for the top-tier 12GB RAM + 256GB model.
