In this exclusive conversation, Mr. Apurv Abhay Modi explains how Almonds Ai is redefining channel loyalty with AI-powered personalization, behavioral insights, and multi-channel engagement. He also highlights the company’s Green Loyalty Program, which rewards sustainable actions and supports India’s net-zero vision. Through intelligent, human-centric design, Almonds Ai is helping brands achieve deeper partner relationships, higher participation, and measurable business growth.
IT Voice- What inspired the inception of Almonds Ai, and how has the journey unfolded since its establishment?
Apurv Abhay Modi- The idea behind Almonds Ai actually came from years of observing a big gap in how brands engage with their channel partners. Everyone talks about consumer loyalty, but when it comes to retailers, painters, mechanics, and distributors, those who are closest to the action, the experience is often clunky, uninspiring, and one-size-fits-all.
We saw loyalty programs that were either app-based with poor UX, or overly transactional with no emotional value. So, we asked: What if we reimagined loyalty for this audience? What if we used AI and data to make these programs smarter, more human, and more aligned with partner behavior?
Since then, it’s been a learning-rich journey. We’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the top brands in the country, built a powerful platform, and most importantly, we’ve helped our clients turn loyalty into real business growth.
IT Voice- What are the standout features of Almonds Ai that differentiate it from other platforms in the market?
Apurv Abhay Modi- I’d say three things stand out.First, intelligence over transactions. We don’t just track how many points a partner earns. We look at why they engage, when they drop off, what excites them and we adapt programs accordingly using AI and behavioral analytics.
Second, personalization at scale. A mechanic in Jaipur and a retailer in Guwahati shouldn’t get the same loyalty experience. With Almonds Ai, we customize content, nudges, and rewards based on the individual, not the segment.
Third, multichannel engagement. Loyalty doesn’t live only inside apps. Through integrations, gamification, WhatsApp journeys, and even targeted ad delivery, we meet partners where they are not where we want them to be.
IT Voice- Could you elaborate on the Green Loyalty Program and its role in supporting India’s net-zero vision?
Apurv Abhay Modi- Loyalty programs have always been a great tool to drive behavior, but they’re often focused only on sales. With Green Loyalty, we wanted to flip the script and start rewarding responsible actions.
Think about it: what if a retailer is incentivized for choosing eco-friendly products, or for switching to digital invoices over paper ones? What if distributors earn points for route optimization or electric delivery vehicles?
These may sound like small things, but at scale, they can make a massive difference. With the right nudges, recognition, and rewards, we can turn sustainability into a habit—without forcing compliance.
In a way, Green Loyalty isn’t just a program; it’s a mindset shift. And we believe it aligns beautifully with India’s net-zero goals.
IT Voice- How has Almonds Ai transformed partner engagement, and what tangible results have your clients achieved through the platform?
Apurv Abhay Modi- The biggest shift we’ve helped create is moving from “broadcasting rewards” to building relationships. Earlier, most partner engagement strategies were passive—send out a scheme, wait, and hope someone responds.
With Almonds Ai, we create two-way, dynamic journeys. Partners are not just earning points—they’re playing games, completing missions, getting personalized nudges, and unlocking tiered rewards that matter to them.
In terms of outcomes? We’ve seen up to 3X increase in program participation, a significant rise in monthly active users, and a direct uplift in sales volumes, especially in underperforming regions. In some cases, redemptions have jumped 5X within 90 days of launching a more personalized and gamified journey.
IT Voice- How do you envision the role of technology and AI shaping the future of B2B marketing by 2025?
Apurv Abhay Modi- By 2025, I believe AI will not just support B2B marketing—it will power it end-to-end.
We’re already seeing signs. Campaigns are becoming more contextual; partner journeys are hyper-personalized, and AI is helping brands not just react to behavior—but predict it.
In B2B, where relationships matter and every partner behaves differently, AI gives us the ability to treat people like people—not data points. And that’s powerful.
We’ll also see more “zero interface” loyalty programs, where partners don’t need to open an app or click 10 buttons. Their behavior itself becomes the trigger, and rewards are seamless. This will be enabled by APIs, machine learning, and deep CRM integration.
But at the heart of it, the future will belong to brands who don’t just use AI for efficiency—but for empathy. That’s where real loyalty lives.
