$200 crore project to be plan in Andhra Pradesh by Karbonn

Karbonn a domestic handset maker has declared that it invest 200 crore in its manufacturing unit based at Andhra Pradesh. Company had decided to employ 2000 people in the plant and aims to manufacture 500000 mobile monthly. it is expected to start by September 2016.

Andhra Pradesh.Lava, Micro max, Celkon had earlier announced their plans to open manufacturing unit at this location.Due to this decision by Karbonn it is expected that many other manufacturing unit will plan to base their plant at andhra , as chief minister of state is offering numerous perks for those companies who manufacture in the state.
                  Karbonn feels that by 2017, India will have miniscule mobile imports as the domestic manufacturing base will be able to meet the demands of the India market. Mr Modi has been advocating the fact the India needs to enhance its local electronics manufacturing base and the government is inviting many foreign investors to come and “Make in India”
