Zopo Unveils Speed 7 Handset At MWC 2016

Zopo Speed 7 features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor MediaTek processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and flaunts a 13.2MP rear camera.

Zopo unveiled its new handset dubbed as ‘Speed 7’ at the ZopoMobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. The company has not yet revealed the pricing and availability details of the device but it will come in Bamboo, Ebony, Black Apricot and Phoenix Feather back cover options.

The USP of the handset is that it comes with swappable back covers with wooden finish.

Zopo Speed 7 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor MediaTek processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the device accounts to 16GB which can be further expanded using a microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers dual sim functionality. The handset comes equipped with a 13.2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing snapper for selfies.

On the connectivity the smartphone offers 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and houses a 2,500 mAh battery.

Zopo recently launched a budget smartphone in India called ‘Hero 1’. The company has priced the device at Rs 12,000 and it will be available on both online and offline retail stores. The Zopo Hero 1 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of the smartphone stands at 16GB which can be expanded further up to 64GB using a microSD card.
