Zopo Speed 8 With Helio X20 Deca-Core SoC To Launch In India

Zopo is launching its deca-core smartphone — called Zopo Speed 8 — on July 20.

Interestingly, the smartphone is already available on ZOPOAmazon’s India website for Rs 31,500. The company had unveiled the Zopo Speed 8 at MWC 2016 earlier this year. The smartphone was showcased alongside the Zopo Speed 7C.

The dual-SIM supporting Zopo Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. Under-the-hood, the handset is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor, clubbed with 4GB RAM. The Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based smartphone houses 32GB inbuilt storage as well.

On the camera front, the Zopo Speed 8 houses a 21MP rear camera powered by Sony IMX230 sensor. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera for taking selfie shots. As for the connectivity, the handset supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Zopo recently launched its Speed 7 smartphone with swappable back in wooden finish. It will come with Bamboo, Ebony, Black Apricot and Phoenix Feather back cover options.

Earlier this year, the company launched a budget smartphone called ‘Hero 1’. The Zopo Hero 1 features a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The internal storage of the smartphone is 16GB which can be expanded further up to 64GB using a microSD card.
