Yu Yureka’s 25000 Units Sold Out In 5 Seconds

Micromax’s Yu Yureka smartphone went up for its fifth flash sale on Thursday, and the company has announced that 25,000 units of the Yureka went out of stock in just 5 seconds. The flash sale began at 2PM IST on Thursday, exclusively via online retailer Amazon.in for registered buyers.

yu_yureka witnessed its fifth flash sale in the country via Amazon India website. In the previous attempts, the company had put 15,000 and 10,000 units for sale for customers in India. The company has sold 50,000 units in total in the country from the time of its launch in December. The last four sales lasted for four, three, three and four seconds respectively.

But, for all those who could not make it, the company will throw the next opportunity to grab the smartphone on 19 February at 2 PM. The registrations for the next flash sale have already started on Amazon India website. Users, who did not manage to buy the device have been recommended to join the Waitlist, who will get a chance to buy the device, if the first time lucky buyers are unable to complete their process of purchase.

Micromax had unveiled the Yu Yureka smartphone, under a new brand called Yu, in December. This is the first smartphone officially running Cyanogen OS in India and is available at a price of Rs 8,999. The Yu Yureka (AO5510) smartphone runs on a custom-build of Cyanogen OS, Cyanogen OS 11.
