Xolo has released another Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for its smartphones, this time for the Xolo Q1010 smartphone that was launched in February with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
The Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is currently not available over-the-air (OTA), and Xolo Q1010 smartphone users need to visit Xolo’s official support website to manually download the 316MB file.
Last month, Xolo had revealed its plans to release the Android 4.4 KitKat update for some of its smartphones – Q700S, Q1010i, Q1010, and Q3000 – by June.
Xolo has already rolled out the Android 4.4.2 update to its Xolo Q1010i smartphone, but there are no details as of now about the Q700 and Q3000 update. In May, Xolo had also released the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for its Q1000 Opus smartphone.
Xolo had launched the Q1010 at Rs. 12,999. The Xolo Q1010 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device that comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display and comes with OGS (One Glass Solution). The Xolo Q1010 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with a Mali 400 GPU, and 1GB of RAM.
The Xolo Q1010 features 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 32GB). It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
On the connectivity front, the Xolo Q1010 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The phablet packs a 2250mAh battery, which is rated for up to 19 hours of talk time and up to 732 hours of standby time on 2G networks. The Xolo Q1010 measures 143.6×72.2×8.3mm and is available in Black colour.
