Xiaomi Power Bank 2i to go on sale today via Mi.com

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi recently launched its new power banks in India. The company introduced 20000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i and 10000mAh Mi PowerBank 2i priced at Rs 1,499 and Rs 799 respectively. The power banks will now go sale in the country at 12PM today (November 23) on Mi.com.
The company also announced that the power banks will be available on Amazon, Flipkart and other retail stores in the country starting December this year.
The Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 2i is light in weight and pretty sleek which makes it easier for users to carry. The device has dual USB output and a two-way quick charge support. This means that the users can charge two devices at the same time. The company states that 6500mAh is the actual output capacity of the powerbank and it offers conversion rate of more than 90%. The users can charge smartphones, tablets and laptops using the power bank .
On the other hand, the 20000mAh Mi PowerBank 2i can also charge laptop, smartphone and tablets and offers the same dual output support. The device also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, when a user is just charging one device using it. The company adds that the device is scratch resistant and sports a perforated exterior.
Both the new powerbanks are manufactured in the recently inaugurated manufacturing plant of the company located in Noida. The company claims that the powerbank manufacturing goes through 9 levels of testing and 3 layers of inspection. The company also said that it is able to manufacture 7 powerbanks per minute at this manufacturing plant. It is the third manufacturing plant of the company and it is spread across 2.3 lakh square feet.
