Xiaomi Mi Router 3C, Mi WiFi Repeater 2 receive price cut in India

Xiaomi has reduced the price of its Mi Router 3C and Mi WiFi Repeater 2 in India. The announcement was made on Monday and company says that this is a permanent price cut. The new price of Mi Router 3C is Rs 999 and Rs 799 for Mi WiFi Repeater 2. The new prices are already live across Flipkart, Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Home retail stores.
While Mi Router 3C was launched last year in 2017 in India with a price tag of Rs 1199. It is the first router launched by Xiaomi in India. The device comes with with four ‘high-performance antennas’ each with a dedicated PCB circuit and has a 2-transmit, 2-receive antenna design.
Xiaomi says that the router offers improved Wi-Fi range and signal stability. Te device is equipped with 64 MB of RAM and offers a wireless speed of 300mbps. MI Router 3C can connect up to 64 devices at one time. It also allows users to track real-time usage via Mi Wi-Fi app.
The Mi WiFi Repeater 2 is now selling at Rs 799, Rs 100 less than its previous price of Rs 899. The device was also launched in June last year in India. Xiaomi launched the Repeater 2 alongside the Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini, the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2, and the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 2.
Xiaomi says that Mi WiFi Repeater 2 is compatible with almost all popular router brands and can connect up to 16 devices. The Xiaomi Repeater 2 is equipped with two PCB antennas that helps to expand signal range and improve download speeds. Xiaomi claims that the device ” can also help you auto-select optimal Wi-Fi channels (support for 13 LAN Channels) for faster download speeds .”
