As a part of the ongoing Xiaomi 2nd anniversary celebrations, the Chinese tech firm has officially slashed the prices of its flagship Mi 5 and Mi 4 smartphones. While the Mi 4 has received a permanent price cut, the Mi 5 has received a temporary discount for 3 days only.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 price has been dropped down by Rs 4,000 and now is available at Rs 10,999. Also, the Mi 5 now costs Rs 22,999. The original price of the Mi 5 was Rs 24,999.
As part of the celebrations, the company will be giving a slew of offers to customers between July 20 to 22nd. According to the company’s Indian website, Xiaomi will offer ‘mystery offers’, coupons and give one bumper prize during the celebration period.
Over that, Xiaomi is offering deals for Re 1 starting today. These deals will be available at 2PM every day and will have different products for sale on all three days. Users can win Mi 5 and 20,000mAh Mi power banks on July 20, Redmi Note 3 and Mi Band on July 21, and Mi Max and Mi Bluetooth speaker on July 22.
Throughout the anniversary offer, Xiaomi will also be giving away its 10000mAh Mi Power Bank, Mi In-Ear Capsule Headphones, and Mi In Ear Headphones Pro Gold at 10 am every day.
Some of these offers will be available on the Mi Store’s app only. The Chinese tech company will reportedly launch its first laptop along with Redmi Note 4 at an event in Beijing on July 27. Speculations suggest that the first Mi laptop might be powered by an Intel Atom processor and will look like Apple’s Macbook.
