Xerox India names Raju GVSR as head of Digital Printing Business

Xerox has appointed Raju GVSR as Associate Director and Head, Production Systems Group, Xerox India. Raju comes in with more than two decades of experience in the technology and digital printing industry and the appointment is aimed at further accelerating Xerox growth in Digital Printing Business.

Commenting on the new appointment, Balaji Rajagopalan, Executive Director, Technology, Channels & International Distributor Operations, Xerox India, said, “We warmly welcome Raju to Xerox India and we are confident that he will add a lot of value to our Graphic Communication business. He has a vast array of experience in the technology and digital printing industry. He is also familiar with Xerox strengths and offerings, having previously been associated with Xerox, which is a great advantage as it allows him to get off to a quick start.”

Prior to Xerox, he has around 21 years of experience with a strong focus on the digital printing industry. He was one of the key members in starting the Xerox Colour Production business in 2001 and helped in starting the inkjet business for IBM Info print in 2007 and he served as a Strategic Account Manager at Hewlett-Packard, where he was instrumental in starting their Indigo and Inkjet Business. He has also served in multiple roles in Thompson Press and Xerox Modi corp. He is B.E. from Pune University and also holds a PGDM from XIM – Bhubaneswar.

He is skilled and proficient in solution designing, implementing and maintaining pricing infrastructure along with third-party OEMs and also has sound knowledge of business process analysis & design, re-engineering and process rationalization. He will play a key role in devising the strategy and plans for Xerox’s graphic communications business going forward and will be crucial to the Xerox India growth story. He will be reporting to the Executive Director, Technology, Channels & International Distributor Operations, Xerox India, Balaji Rajagopalan and will initially be based out of Bangalore.
