Wipro, an IT services company based in Bengaluru, has announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr. Jatin Pravinchandra Dalal, effective from November 30, 2023.
Aparna Iyer has been appointed as the new CFO, with her role commencing on September 22, 2023.
Aparna Iyer previously served as the CFO of Wipro’s FullStride Cloud Global Business Line and brings expertise in financial risk management, capital allocation, fundraising, and business strategy.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and received a gold medal in the CA 2002 batch.
Thierry Delaporte, CEO and Managing Director of Wipro, praised Aparna’s leadership and her contributions to the company’s finance transformation in recent years.
He also expressed gratitude to Jatin Dalal for his past contributions to Wipro. The company’s shares closed slightly lower on the BSE following this announcement.
