WinMagic Inc, has introduced the SecureDoc CloudVM encryption solution in India. Addressing the growing concerns of protecting critical assets stored within virtual environments, SecureDoc CloudVM is an enterprise encryption solution that offers support for platforms running in public, private and hybrid cloud environments through application aware intelligent key management.

With most leading organizations looking at leveraging the power of cloud computing, investments in cloud infrastructure in India are expected to be around $1 billion. India is fast gaining importance as a popular investment destination among global IT majors.

“As more and more organizations turn to cloud adoption for a cost-effective approach to scalability and efficiency in the workplace, there is an increasing focus on the lack of proper data protection across public, private and hybrid cloud environments,” said James LaPalme, Vice President, Business Development & Cloud Solutions at WinMagic.

Through a cloud-agnostic approach to encryption, WinMagic is giving the control of key management back to the enterprise, all while ensuring the protection and security of data stored in virtualized workloads.”

The company conducted road shows across the cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru to spread awareness about the new product. Over 50 customers took part in each region. These road shows consisted of product demos, hands-on training sessions and technology tracks to provide customers a comprehensive overview of the software.
