WhatsApp for Android Will Soon Support Calls With Up To 15 People

WhatsApp has been introducing several new features this year, including the ability to send messages to unknown numbers without saving them. Now, the app is testing a new group call feature on Android. According to a report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out the ability to add up to 15 people to a group call at once on Android. This is part of the WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.23.15.14 version update.
With this new feature, users can select up to 15 participants while creating a group call. It’s not necessary for them to join at the same time; they can join at any point as long as the group call is active. However, it’s important to note that the total number of participants in the group call can still reach up to 32. For example, you can select 15 contacts initially, but you can still add or approve an additional 17 participants if needed.
Currently, only a few WhatsApp beta testers have access to this feature, but it is expected to have a wider rollout soon. Users can look forward to trying out this new feature, whether it’s for socializing with friends or conducting work-related calls directly from their WhatsApp account.
