Whats App is working on a new feature which is said to improve the experience for the user. Report has revealed that the popular messaging app is working on a redesigned keyboard with an emoji category bar.
WABetaInfo, is the website which keeps track of changes in WhatsApp build, revealed that the Meta-owned platform is developing a redesigned keyboard with the emoji category bar. Report adds that the emoji category bar will give permission to the users to easily access different categories of emojis. Emoji category bar will now become part of the redesigned keyboard which the company will released out with future updates.
With this feature, tabs provide easy access to other keyboard functionalities (including GIF and sticker selection) will be shifted upwards. In addition, there are some ideas regarding the chat bar: the attachment sharing buttons and the emoji keyboard button will be shifted to align with the style of WhatsApp Desktop and WhatsApp for iOS.
The redesigned keyboard is under development and it will be roll out in the future update of the app.
