Rajesh Gupta, Co-founder, and CTO, Busy Infotech Pvt Ltd
Nisha Harshwal:- How Busy is fairing in the Indian market?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:- Right from the beginning BUSY has been doing well in Indian market with a consistent growth year on year. With a strong network of dedicated channel partners all across India, we have never looked back since inception.
Nisha Harshwal:- How is your solution performing in the market?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:-Although this market is very competitive, we have been able to perform extremely well due to our strong product and excellent services. We work with leading performance marketers and enable them to reach customers with compelling and relevant ads, quickly test new approaches, and drive higher performance.
Nisha Harshwal:-What type of challenges are you facing in the market?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:-Piracy is one of the primary challenges which we as a software company are facing. Another challenge is the training of users on a product to enable them to maximize product usage.
Nisha Harshwal:- What kind of channel engagement program are you planning to the national level?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:-We are organizing End Users/Accountants Meets & Road Shows all across India to educate users about GST and its implication on businesses. We focus on the strategy before tactics. Having our goals in writing will give us, and our partners, something tangible use for sharing the goals with our teams.

Nisha Harshwal:- How GST Law will affect the SMB and SOHO community?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:-GST law will bring transparency in doing business, and SMB & SOHO community are going to get an advantage out of it. However, their reliance on computers and accounting software will increase as the process of return filing is complicated and it will be difficult to do so manually. The proposed system shall be more transparent, more paperless, but requires more compliance as well. The small taxable person should be taken care of, to avoid unnecessary burden on them.
Nisha Harshwal:- What advice will you give to the resellers in the wake of GST phase?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:-We have encouraged our resellers to focus on educating users about GST till it gets introduced and after that help them in a smooth transition to GST with the help of BUSY. There would be multiple statues whereby there could be on for Centre and one for State similar to the present VAT laws which are enacted in each state.
Nisha Harshwal:- What is your future plan in the future quarters?
Mr.Rajesh Gupta:-We have always been a front runner in providing statutory compliance through BUSY, and this time also we are leading. Our GST enabled product has already launched, and we are fully geared up to incorporate all the GST related changes in the product as and when required.
On the marketing front, we are doing all types of ATL & BTL activities including Online Marketing, Newspaper Advertisement, TV Advertisement, Road Shows, Mass Mailing, SMS Marketing and much more.
