Vodafone updates Rs 458, Rs 509 plans, offers more data, longer validity to take on Airtel, Jio

Vodafone has updated its two plans to take on Jio and Airtel. Airtel and Jio recently updated its plans to offer more data at cheaper prices. Following in the footsteps of its rivals, Vodafone has updated its Rs 458 and Rs 509 plans. The revised plans are live on company’s website and My Vodafone app.

Vodafone offers 1GB 4G/3G data per day at Rs 509. The company has extended its validity from 84 days to 91 days. This means users will get a total of 91GB data for 91 days. Users will also get unlimited voice calls and free roaming under this offer. Vodafone’s Rs 509 will compete against Airtel’s Rs 509 and Jio’s Rs 498 plans.
Airtel at Rs 509 offers 1 GB daily data, free voice calls, free roaming and 100SMS per day . The company has extended the validity of its plans from 84 days to 91 days. This means users will get 91GB data in total.
Jio has also introduced a 91 days ‘plan. The updated Jio plan at Rs 498 offers 136GB 4G data for 91 days. It was 91GB previously. Jio offers the highest amount data of all three. Also, Jio is cheaper than Airtel and Vodafone.

Vodafone’s second plan update is for Rs 458. The company offers unlimited calling, free roaming, 100 SMS per day and 1GB 4G/3G data per day. Vodafone has increased the validity of the plan from 70 days to 84 days. This means users will get 84GB data in total instead of 70GB. The plan competes against Jio’s Rs 448 and Airtel’s 448 plans.
Airtel offers 82GB data for 82 days at Rs 448. The plan earlier offered 70GB data. The company also offers unlimited voice calls with this plan. Jio has updated the plan to offer 126GB data for 84 days. It was 84 GB before. Jio has increased the per day data limit to 1.5GB now. Jio here again offers more data than Airtel and Vodafone.
