Vivo Y70 and Y11s Launched

Vivo Y70 and Y11s have been introduced in Europe as the newest inexpensive smartphones from Vivo. The company forayed into the European market with 4 offerings which are X51 5G, Y20s, Y70, and Y11s. The X51 5G and Y20s are rebranded versions of X50 Pro and Y20, respectively, smartphones that were presented earlier in 2020. Whereas, the Y70 seems to be a rebranded variant of V20 SE that was introduced in September.

According to the company, the Y70 is priced at 279-pound sterling in the United Kingdom and will be accessible for purchase starting 29th October. The pricing or availability details for Y11s hasn’t been proclaimed as of now. Both smartphones have been listed on Vivo’s UK website.

All the smartphones will be presented in France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Y70 specifications

According to the specifications listed on the company’s UK website, the smartphone appears to be a rebranded version of the currently presented V20 SE. The dual-SIM (Nano) Vivo Y70 runs Funtouch Operating System 11, which is based on Android 10. It arrives with a full-HD+ with a pixel resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 AMOLED display of 6.44-inch. Under the hood, the Y70 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with a RAM of 8GB and onboard storage of 128GB.

It features a triple rear camera setup that contains a primary snapper of 48mp, a macro sensor of 2mp, and a bokeh shooter of 2mp. For selfies and video chats, the smartphone arrives with a snapper of 16mp placed inside the waterdrop-style notch at the front. In comparison, the triple rear camera setup on V20 SE contained a sensor of 48mp, an ultra-wide sensor of 8mp, and a depth sensor of 2mp. The V20 SE also came with a selfie shooter of 32mp.

The Y70 houses a battery life of 4,100mAh that supports fast charging of 33-Watts. It is offered in 2 distinct color options. Connectivity options contain Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone measures 161 x 74.08 x 7.83mm and it weighs around 171 grams.

Y11s specifications

The new smartphone appears to be a toned-down variant of the Y20s. Fascinatingly, the Y20s itself is a rebranded model of the vanilla version of Y20 that was introduced in the country in August.
According to the company’s UK website, the dual-SIM (Nano), Vivo Y11s arrives comes with an HD+ LCD of 6.51 inch with a pixel resolution of 1,600 x 720. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC. It houses a battery life of 5,000mAh that supports a fast-charging of 10-watts.

The main difference between the 2 smartphones in the camera variants. While the Y20s sports a setup of the triple rear camera, the Y11s arrives with dual rear cameras that contain a primary snapper of 13mp and a sensor of 2mp. Both the smartphones, nevertheless, feature a selfie camera of 8mp which is placed inside the waterdrop-style notch at the front.

Vivo Y11s comes with a RAM of 3GB and internal storage of 32GB. This is further a step down from the RAM of 4GB and storage of 128GB found in the Vivo Y20s. Connectivity options on Y11s contain Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, OTG, and a Micro USB port.

Pricing details haven’t yet been disclosed for Y11s, but Vivo X51 5G has been priced at 749-pound sterling for the sole 8GB + 256GB storage variant in the United Kingdom. Whereas, the Vivo Y20s will be sold at 149-pound sterling.
