Vivo V5 smartphone to launch in India sports a 20MP front-facing camera with LED flash

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to launch its V5 vivosmartphone in India later this month. According to sources, the smartphone will be launched in Mumbai on November 15.

Though much is yet to be known about the smartphone, reports suggest that it will bedelight to selfie lovers. As per online reports, Vivo V5 will show off a 20MP front-facing camera with LED flash and a 13MP rear camera.

Other specifications of the smartphone are said to include a 5.2-inch Full HD ((1920x1080p) display and a fingerprint sensor integrated in home button, powered by Snapdragon processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB with installation of micro SD card.

The 4G smartphone is said to come with on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, priced around Rs 20,000.

earlier this year Vivo’s V3 smartphone that was launched in India. To revise, V3 smartphone was priced at Rs 17,980 and featured a 5-inch (720x1280p) display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC and 3GB of RAM.

On camera front, Vivo V3 sported an 8MP front-facing camera along with a 13MP primary snapper.

Also, according to a recent Counterpoint research report, Vivo, along with Oppo are announced star performers in their home country China, in the just-concluded third quarter. The company saw its shipments grow to 437% year-on-year during the quarter in China.
