Vivo Introduces Vivo Pad Air Featuring 11.5-Inch 144Hz Display and 8,500mAh Battery

Vivo Pad Air, running on Android 13-based OriginOS 3, has been officially unveiled in China by Vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdong on Weibo. The tablet is set to be available in three different color options. Detailed specifications of the device have been confirmed, revealing that it weighs just 530 grams and incorporates an 8,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The tablet will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC and boasts an 11.5-inch display with a 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz.

Vivo’s Vice President, Jia Jingdong, took to Weibo to introduce the new Vivo Pad Air in China. The tablet is noted for its lightweight design and will be offered in three attractive color variations: Free Blue, Brave Pink, and Easy Silver. It maintains a slim profile, measuring only 6.67mm in thickness. However, crucial details such as pricing, availability, and storage options remain undisclosed at this time.

The Vivo Pad Air is set to run on Android 13-based OriginOS 3 and features an impressive 11.5-inch LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution (2800×1968 pixels) and a rapid 144Hz refresh rate. The device adopts a 3:2 aspect ratio and P3 wide color gamut. Under the hood, it is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with an Adreno 550 GPU. Furthermore, the tablet houses a sizable 8,500mAh battery capable of 44W fast charging.

The tablet is said to incorporate a quad-speaker setup along with advanced audio computed sound effects, enhancing the audio experience. Vivo Pad Air’s metal body is designed to resist fingerprints and maintain a clean appearance. Although specific details about the camera, RAM, storage configurations, and other features are yet to be unveiled, these details are anticipated to be disclosed at the tablet’s official launch. The availability and launch of the device in India have not been disclosed as of yet.
