Adobe announced that it has promoted Vineet Sood, its recent head of SMB Sales for India, to assume the role of Director, SMB Sales for India and Southeast Asia.
Sood said the expansion of his role to take in South East Asia along with India was a great opportunity to continue the work he had begun. “It is hard to spot changes while they are happening, but I have worked hard with our channel partners and my team to help identify the factors that make business grow”.
Stephen Hamill, Managing Director of Adobe Southeast Asia, said “Vineet has played a crucial role in driving sales in India and his leadership will be a tremendous asset to our Southeast Asian team,” said Hamill. In the new role Sood will report to Rob Giglio, World Wide Vice President, Consumer and SMB Sales.
Sood joined Adobe from Symantec in 2011 and he immediately played a role in helping redefine Adobe’s channels sales business in India to become the best performing team in the Asia Pacific region. He was named Asia Pacific Channel Person of the Year at Adobe’s World Wide Sales Conference in December.
