Videocon Telecom, the youngest Telco in the country & the vibrant Arvind Bali, Director & CEO, Videocon Telecom (1)telecom arm of the Indian conglomerate Videocon Group has delighted and surprised its employees and the industry alike by announcing annual employee appraisal results and increments before the Financial Year end. Bringing unprecedented encouragement to its employees, Videocon Telecom has also announced a lucrative and higher than industry average salary hike of 18% for its workforce. The Telco known for its employee friendly policies also announced some lucrative employee engagement incentive and retention bonuses for its employees.

The telco has spent over Rs. 5 Cr on its Gala Reward & Recognition event to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on April 4, 2015. Over 600 Employees from across departments, verticals and circles are flying to Thailand for a 5-day excursion in Pattaya and Bangkok. The telco will also felicitate its best performers of FY 2014-15 & cascade its strategy and annual operating plan for the next financial year during the event. The telco has also announced its next financial year Annual R&R event which will be held in Europe.

The young Telco which made its comeback into the Telecom space in January 2013 is strategically hiring professionals for its growing business operations including services in 3 circles (UP-E, UP-W and Bihar/Jharkhand); and rollout of 4G services. The Telco also has plans to go to top Business Schools and Engineering Colleges including IIMs, ISB, S.P. Jain, XLRI, IITs amongst other leading institutes this year for campus placements to strengthen its employee eminence.
